Among other guest speakers, Gordon Morris gave a presentation discussing why loop systems are failing. Gordon explored the technical and human complexities that allow these systems to work or fail and demonstrated what a hearing aid user does or does not hear.
When you invest in assistive hearing equipment, you need to be sure that it is effective for the hearing aid user. Too often systems fail to perform to their full potential because inadequate care is taken during the design and installation process. These failings can go unnoticed until it is too late. The result? Disappointment for the hearing aid users who rely on this equipment to access and enjoy your services.
