Your building is unique
We will treat it with the respect it deserves

We recognise that yours is no ordinary building. People come to you for a huge range of spiritual and personal reasons: to pray, to contemplate and to celebrate life’s most important events. This makes yours an exceptional place with a unique atmosphere of its own; a place for people to connect with each other and with their faith.

Making these connections can be difficult when you rely on a hearing aid. Because of the way hearing aids work, high levels of background noise, reverberations and poor acoustics can make it virtually impossible to comprehend what is being said. This often leads to a sense of frustration and isolation from the shared experiences that make your building so special. Gordon Morris Ltd can help you to reach these hearing impaired people more effectively, so that they can engage with and enjoy more of what you have to offer.

Many places of worship opt for an induction loop system. Our systems are built around state-of-the-art Univox amplifiers, which convert sound from a microphone into electromagnetic signals. These signals are transmitted from a wire located discreetly around the perimeter of the congregation area. Hearing aid users within this area can simply flick a switch on their aid to enjoy clear sound, direct from the speaker’s microphone. The effects of distracting reverberations and background noise are greatly reduced. Using this system we can provide total coverage for quite substantial spaces, so larger buildings should pose no problem.

We appreciate that your building is likely to be of cultural, historical and architectural significance. Our engineers will treat it with the respect it deserves. They can use their expertise and experience to design a sensitive installation that will discreetly harmonise with the surroundings, without damaging the fabric and atmosphere of the building.
