Many places display signs that indicate they have a hearing system installed for the use of the hearing impaired. Sadly, however, many of those systems are not switched on, plugged in, are too quiet, are subject to interference, or are faulty in some way.

Additionally, many places will invest in an Induction Loop, an Infrared or a Radio System but no one will be placed in charge of the equipment, or the person who was responsible may leave and the duties involved in the effective operation of the system won’t be passed on to someone else.
